Nice to meet you! I’m Heather.

I've been practicing EFT since 2010. I was shocked by how EFT went right to the source of so many issues I had circled around for years in talk therapy.

Childhood memories that continued to bother me, nagging self-doubts, problems with self-worth, and even lack of motivation - ALL improved with EFT!

I was even more astonished when I experienced the effect it had on so many of my problems with chronic pain. Headaches diminished more quickly than they did with medication, my backaches got better (and they hadn't responded to medication at all!) and muscle aches improved as well.

My Story

In 2013 I was so unwell I had to stop working at my full-time teaching job at a private school in New York City.

My left knee had swelled to the size of a grapefruit and I was out of breath even when I tried to walk across the room. Although I was terrified at the loss of salary right at a time when my health was at its worst, the whole year turned out to be a blessing in disguise.

A friend of mine had trained as an EFT practitioner and offered to work with me for free. EFT seemed pointless to me and I had no interest in tapping on my face when my body was wrenched with pain. But finally I tried it.

The Turning Point

I was immediately intrigued by the effect tapping had on my emotions.

Painful childhood memories came flooding to the surface and instead of becoming overwhelmed by them, I used EFT to understand and come to peace with them. Eventually, I decided to finally take my health into my own hands. I tapped until my pain started to subside.

It wasn’t a quick fix, but my progress was solid. I began to get trained in EFT with its founder, Gary Craig. I took online classes from my couch, where I was stuck for months, and I began to tap, meditate, and read about the connection between the mind and the body. It was a miraculous journey that I will always treasure. I love that now I can help others do the same.
